Charlotte County Youth Footvolley
Charlotte County Youth Footvolley is an exciting youth sport that blends aspects of beach volleyball and soccer, played barefoot on a court with a soccer ball over a net, where players use their head, chest, and feet—but not their hands—to return the ball. Originating in Brazil, it's a fast-paced team sport that requires significant balance, ball control, and endurance.

Coach Dotres is a USSF-C licensed, Accredited, and Certified Interscholastic Coach with a Soccer concentration, and multiple US Soccer grassroots certificates. He is the current Varsity Boys’ Soccer Head Coach at Charlotte High School, UPSL Men’s Semi-Professional League Twin River United Head Coach, and Punta Gorda Middle School Girls’
Coach Dotres is a USSF-C licensed, Accredited, and Certified Interscholastic Coach with a Soccer concentration, and multiple US Soccer grassroots certificates. He is the current Varsity Boys’ Soccer Head Coach at Charlotte High School, UPSL Men’s Semi-Professional League Twin River United Head Coach, and Punta Gorda Middle School Girls’ Soccer Head Coach.
He served on the Charlotte County Soccer Federation board from 2015 to 2021 as Treasurer and Vice President of Rec Soccer South. In 2021, FYSA recognized Charlotte County for Outstanding Rec Program of the Year. He received the Coach of the Year in 2019 and the President's Award in 2020 from CCSF. He served as a coach for CCSF for 6 years, clubs in the Orlando area for 3 years, and Pembroke Pines for 3 years. He is also an FYSA Staff Coach - ODP, and coached Cape Coral Soccer Association Cyclones 2010 and 2008.
Professionally, he has over 20 years of executive-level experience with both private and publicly traded SEC companies. Miguel has served on the board of directors for private and publicly traded companies and has worked as a private contractor for publicly traded companies and government agencies. Miguel has worked for the State of Florida Revenue Department, Charlotte County Community Services, and is currently working for Charlotte County Schools. Miguel is the co-founder of the WIN Institute and WIN Soccer Academy, which are both coaching and player-focused educational nonprofit organizations.
Miguel is originally from Miami, where he played soccer for PSN as a youth. He attended Miami Dade Community College and Saint Thomas University in Miami, Florida, where he studied Business Administration. He moved to the Southwest Florida area in 2005 with his wife, Nicole, and two children, Miguel Jr. and Nina.
